Roofing Inverted/Conventional

  • Conventional Roofing: This is the more common system, where the waterproofing and insulation layers are placed directly on the roof structure, and then covered by a finishing layer. The insulation is positioned below the waterproofing, which helps protect the roof from weather elements.

  • Inverted Roofing: Unlike the conventional system, in this setup, the thermal insulation is placed above the waterproofing layer. This provides greater protection against temperature fluctuations and helps protect the waterproofing from damage caused by direct sunlight or extreme weather conditions, extending its lifespan.
